Welcome!

Hello everyone!

Thanks for visiting and sharing in this adventure with me. For the moment this is where I will be tying to re-establish connection to the outside world, but rumor has it that Blogger is also difficult to access from China (I guess it makes scene with all the other things they have blocked). If things change I will let anyone interested know.

My flight leaves tonight at 11:45pm from JFK. I'll be flying 9 hour to Anchorage, 14 hours to Taipei, and another 1 or 2 hours to Hong Kong where I will arrive at 10:05am. Somewhere in there is 4 hours worth of layovers. Thats a grand total of about 30 hours of travel. :-D Hopefully things go smoothly!
